Because Referees Need Visual Aids

Dear NBA referees (particularly referees in Utah):

THIS:

is what we call a "foul". Yes, "foul." It's pronounced "fa-wuhl" to some.

This is when you blow air into that thing around your neck called a "whistle."

The offending player(s) will then stop, stare at you, and wait for you to tell them they can't hit other players holding the ball anymore. Please be aware that players from Utah might call you dirty names (and your mother, too), but you should be firm in your decision and, if necessary, eject them from the game.

note: ask Steve Javie for help if you need, he's an expert in this "ejection" aspect of the game.

Yep, if anyone knows a foul it's Houston. Scola was doing that all night, yet the refs seemed to reward that guy with freethrows. Oh well, it didn't matter in the end. We'll be glad to beat your ass in the playoffs again with or without HCA.

That is the dumbest comment we've ever had here. If anything, Scola was the victim of that more than he was the offender.

"dumbest comment ever" Whaahhh!!! Look, just stop whining like a little girl and move on. Even with all those gimmies Scola and Broke-Headlights had at the FT line you're gonna complain about a Miles foul? Yep, if the refs called that ONE foul, it was in the bag for Houston!!

Who is whining? Are you arguing that the picture wasn't a foul? I'm pretty sure that "one foul" was just one of many that could have been pictured. Go back to Jazz land and enjoying yet again not winning a championship, you know, like always. Your comment was dumb because you chose the absolute wrong player to try and prove a point. Scola is the one guy on the court every night that gets called for the majority of his fouls. He even typically gets 1-2 calls against him a game that are absolutely ridicuolous. If you had said Luther Head, I would completely agree with you.
