Much like our friends over at DaGoodDaBad, and Demeco, we have a problem with some of the stuff put out by the chronicle. I've put up a few articles here and there that I didn't like and broke down why, as has Dave. I would be remiss in not mentioning it when someone writes something very well. Kudos go out to Jerome Solomon, probably the writer I like the most there, for this piece on Yao:
Yao must watch the next million or so steps
It isn't forced and isn't lazy, it's extremely well written and that's hard to do on a subject that has been broached so many times. I've only been writing on this here blog for a short time and I've been lazy as hell at times, so it's nice to see someone that writes daily for a living not go that route.

It's weird. Every now and then, Solomon or Zeirlein (sp?) write something coherent and I feel dirty enjoying it.
