The Rockets put it on the Sixers last year, winning both games by a combined 71 points. Then the Sixers had to go and pay us back with a 12 point ass kicking in December that was in no way that close. Philly comes in on a 7 game losing streak and the Rockets are looking to make it 8. We're favored by 10 and, honestly, we don't deserve to make the playoffs if we lose this game.
Andre Iguodala is having a good year, but he's not a first option guy. He'd be great as the second option, in fact, he'd be one of the better ones in the league, but his game just isn't suited for first option status. He plays a lot of minutes and seems to play hard, but there's just something about him that's off for me.
The Sixers are in complete disarray after trading away The Answer. They did fire Billy King, so at least that's a start. But it's going to take quite a while to turn around. Tonight is not a jumping point for this.
The Rockets lost to the Hornets on Sunday, and I was upset enough about it that I really haven't posted anything until today. I'm not going to complain about officials anymore than I ever do, but someone needs to figure out that Yao is NOT clumsy and does not just drop basketballs. The Sixers are coming in on the second night of a back to back after losing to the Spurs last night 89-82. I'm calling for a blowout. Not on the 50 point magnitude, but something worthy of Dave's and my presence. In no way are they as bad as the Timberwolves, so I'm think 14-18 points would do.
Let's go Rockets, time to start a new winning streak!
